Established in June 2021, the Confederation of Hospitality, Technology and Tourism Industry (CHATT) is a dynamic, proactive and forward-looking institution. It acts as a catalyst between the Government and the new-age hospitality, tourism and travel technology industry. As an industry association, CHATT enables collaboration among small or big companies at the intersection of the hospitality, technology and tourism industries. The focus is to provide digital access and technology interventions for the micro, small and medium enterprises in the travel and tourism eco-space.
CHATT is working with government, industry, think tanks, consultancy firms, experts and thought leaders to enable digital access and support to the small and medium enterprises in the travel, tourism and hospitality ecosystem.

CHATT is a first-of-its-kind association formed to represent and safeguard the interests of budget hotels, Bed and Breakfast (BnB) stays, independent lodging partners, homestay owners, online travel aggregators (OTAs), wellness centres, tourism operators, tourist agents & guides, travel partners and other entities falling in the category of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in this sector.
As a tech-centric industry body, CHATT is empowering micro entrepreneurs and MSMEs (micro, small and medium-sized enterprises) in the sector and facilitating the adoption of the latest technologies to elevate domestic tourism in line with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s clarion call to promote local tourist destinations.
